FCS Program of Study in Early Childhood Studies

IKM-Manning High School offers a Family and Consumer Science Program of Study in Early Childhood Studies, which is directly linked to the Early Childhood Education Program at Iowa Western Community College. Students who are interested in pursuing career in an early childhood field are recommended to complete the FCS Program of Study. They will complete the necessary high school courses we offer in the early childhood field, therefore ensuring a smooth transition into the IWCC Early Childhood Education Program. Completion of the FCS Program of Study will allow students to be better prepared
for the next level of education in this field.
